Restoration Suite tackles the four classic audio problems in one affordable package. DeNoise removes hiss, wind, and broadband noise using dynamic noise profiles that track noise as it changes over time, avoiding the watery artifacts of older tools. DeHum finds and removes mains hum and buzz, with an automatic scan that locks onto the fundamental frequency in seconds. DeClick repairs clicks, crackle, and thumps from vinyl transfers or digital dropouts, and DeClip reconstructs peaks destroyed by clipping.
The plug-ins run in any VST, AU, or AAX host on Windows and macOS, and also integrate with Acon Digital’s Acoustica editor. Archivists use the suite to restore tape and vinyl transfers; podcasters and engineers use it as a first-pass cleanup chain on real-world recordings.
The suite’s transparent sound is its selling point: on blind comparisons it routinely removes noise without the musical-noise artifacts that give restoration tools a bad name, and each plug-in works at up to 192 kHz with channel formats up to 7.1.6 for immersive work.
