Troopr

★ 4.2 🔖 100 saves 💰 Freemium Task Project

Troopr Check-ins runs standups that write themselves: it drafts each person’s update from their real Jira, GitHub, and Slack activity, posts the compiled team report, and turns the discussion into Jira updates.

Overview

Most standup tools still ask every engineer to type the same update every day. Troopr removes the typing. Before the window closes, each person receives a private draft built from what they actually did — tickets moved, pull requests, messages — which they can confirm or edit; if they never reply, Troopr posts the draft on their behalf, marked as auto-generated, so the ritual never stalls on one person. The team report lands in the channel with a summary up top, per-person detail in the thread, and blockers and critical-path items called out. If the team also meets live, Troopr joins the call, takes notes like a project manager, cross-references what was said against live Jira and GitHub data, and afterwards proposes the Jira updates — each confirmed by the owner in DM before anything changes. Six templates cover the ceremonies around the standup: retrospective, planning poker, instant planning poker, team mood, and a Jira issues check-in where people update tickets directly from Slack. Check-in history rolls up into searchable report, insights, and history dashboards. Troopr is used by 600+ engineering teams, including Netflix, Snowflake, Roku, and Yahoo, and holds a 4.8 rating across 600 reviews.
