Tutti is an open-source workspace where people and their AI coding agents build together in one shared environment. Developed on GitHub with about 3,800 stars, it gives local agents like Claude Code, Codex and OpenClaw a common, persistent project state instead of leaving every person and agent working on isolated copies.
In the open-source version, Tutti coordinates your own agents on your machine: they share files, context and task state, and a built-in agent can route work by complexity when you do not have your own subscriptions. The hosted Tutti VM edition extends the idea to teams: every member’s agents enter the same cloud room, see each other’s live progress on an agent board, edit the same files in real time with conflicts resolved behind the scenes, and can even borrow a teammate’s agent, scoped to the room and revocable at any time. Sensitive data and credentials stay on local machines while the shared working state lives in the room. The project is under very active development through 2026.
Tutti’s open-source edition is free under the Apache 2.0 license for you and your own agents. The hosted Tutti VM collaboration service and enterprise private deployments are commercial offerings, so the overall model is freemium.
Tutti is for developers and teams running several AI agents at once who want shared context, live visibility and real-time collaboration instead of merging isolated agent work after the fact.
