Novastart OS rethinks the desktop as an infinite canvas: instead of windows stacked inside a fixed screen, your apps, websites, documents and projects live side by side on a zoomable, pannable workspace, and every canvas reopens exactly as you left it. Its defining feature is that you do not work there alone. Up to ten AI agents can operate on the same canvas at the same time, each with its own labeled cursor and keyboard, so one agent can research in the browser while another organizes a spreadsheet and a third drafts a document — all in plain sight, in normal app windows, while you keep using your own mouse and keyboard.
You can pause an agent mid-click, type a correction, or take any window back. Teammates can join the same canvas too, each with their own cursor, with built-in chat and the ability to use each other’s apps as if they were local. Novastart runs more than 30 web apps as standalone windows, including Chrome, Claude, ChatGPT, Gmail, Excel, WhatsApp and Notion, and it is available as an app inside Windows 10/11 and Intel Macs, or as a bare-metal OS install for x86 PCs. Plans start free, with Pro at $10 a month and Team at $20 per user a month.
