Mumble Note is a voice-first AI note-taking app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Most note apps expect you to type; Mumble Note expects you to talk. You speak, type, or mix both, and its AI merges the input into clean, structured notes — turning scattered thoughts into transcripts, summaries, tasks, and content-ready drafts without manual cleanup.
Recording is the center of the experience: tap the mic and start talking, even with the screen off or from your Apple Watch. For meetings, Mumble Note records sessions of up to two hours and produces a full transcript plus a structured note that preserves detail, pulls out key decisions and follow-ups, and generates an action-item list automatically — while smartly combining anything you typed during the meeting into the same note. Related notes are grouped into themed Collections without manual sorting, and the AI can draft new notes from a collection of previous ones. Smart output templates let you reformat, translate, or rewrite any note; action items sync to Things, Apple Reminders and Calendar, and Google Tasks and Calendar; and a built-in chat lets you ask Mumble AI to summarize, brainstorm, expand, or rewrite your notes. Transcription and generation are powered by models including GPT-4o and Whisper, and notes are stored encrypted and never used for AI training.
Mumble Note is free to download and use, with a premium tier unlocking the full AI generation and recording capacity. It is listed here as Freemium.
Mumble Note suits people who capture ideas faster by talking than typing: founders brain-dumping between meetings, professionals who live in conversations, and journalers who think out loud. If your notes currently die as raw voice memos, Mumble Note turns them into organized, actionable knowledge automatically.
