Kite

★ 4.2 💰 Freemium UI/UX Design

Kite is an agent-first design tool where designers and AI agents work on the same live HTML and CSS canvas. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, or any MCP client connects through a hosted MCP server with 59 tools, reads the file’s design system before drawing, and draws, edits, and answers comment requests while the team watches, each with its own cursor. Design systems live in the file as variables with light and dark modes, reusable components with variants, and plain-language skills for brand rules, so an agent’s work follows your system instead of generic defaults. The editor itself is a real design tool rather than a prompt box: flex and grid layout, pen and shape tools, real type, gradients, fills, live shader backdrops, version history, and export to PNG, WebP, SVG, PDF, HTML, React, or Tailwind. Files move both ways with Figma, whole Figma files can be imported by link, and a Mac app plus a Chrome capture extension bring local files and web pages in as editable layers. Kite is free to start with unlimited editors and viewers and three files; Pro costs $20 per editor a month, or $16 billed yearly, and there are no AI credits because your agent runs on the plan you already pay for. It suits product teams designing with AI agents in the loop.
