Grok Bot is xAI’s personal agent, launched in beta on August 11, 2026. Instead of a chatbot that only answers questions, it gives you named AI teammates. Every user gets an Agent Computer, a persistent virtual machine in the cloud: your Bots sign into the tools you connect, work through multi-step tasks, and come back to you when something needs your approval. It is the personal-agent form of Grok, distinct from the Grok chatbot.
You message Bots like colleagues from the desktop app or iOS. Create one Bot for a job, then add more as the work grows: one on a project, one on outbound, one on systems. Bots work in parallel, keep context on how you work, and can sit in the same thread, passing work between themselves instead of routing everything through you. All the Bots on an account share one persistent cloud computer, including files, browser and logins, so work continues 24/7 after your laptop closes. If you show a Bot how you do a workflow once, it saves the steps as a routine and runs them itself next time.
Grok Bot is a paid product. On x.ai, plans run from Premium at $30 per month to Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 per month, each including weekly Grok Bot usage with extra usage billed by token cost. Grok Bot is also included with eligible SuperGrok and Cursor plans, and Enterprise is available through sales.
Grok Bot is aimed at founders, operators and teams who want always-on digital staff without building their own agent infrastructure.
