Compozy is an open-source operating system for AI agents, published on GitHub with about 2,800 stars. You plug in the agent CLIs you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Cursor, and Compozy turns them into a coordinated team that shares one project memory.

Overview

Making agents work continuously is normally an engineering project of loops, triggers, cron jobs, permissions and glue scripts. Compozy builds that whole stack into one product: agents split work between themselves, hand tasks to each other, run automated jobs and loops, and pause for human approvals where configured, while you steer everything from a browser dashboard with full observability. The system is MIT licensed and written to be self-hosted; the current release line is in beta and under very active development in 2026. The project is built first for developers and technical operators, with documentation covering installation, agent configuration and writing custom automations on top of the shared runtime.

Key Features

  • Orchestrates Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and other agent CLIs
