ClipLocale generates, translates, and edits video subtitles in the browser, with a bilingual preview and SRT and VTT export. The video itself is never uploaded: only the extracted audio and the subtitle text are sent to online AI services, while the workspace lives in the current browser tab. Start from a prepared example to try the editable timeline without signing in or spending processing minutes, then select a local video to inspect its duration and support; Google sign-in is required when recognition starts. Current language choices are English, Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese, and captions can be reviewed and corrected in both languages before export. Each account gets one 300-second trial, and further processing uses paid minutes. It suits creators publishing the same video to audiences in two languages, educators adding translated captions to a lesson, and editors who need clean, timed subtitle files without uploading raw footage to a cloud service.
