ADE CLI is the official open-source command-line interface for LandingAI’s Agentic Document Extraction (ADE) platform. Overview

Instead of treating a PDF as flat text, ADE understands documents the way an agent would: it parses pages into grounded Markdown and structured elements, keeping track of exactly where each value came from. The CLI wraps that engine in two commands. Running ade parse converts documents with tables, figures and charts into Markdown and elements, while ade extract pulls schema-shaped fields out of a parsed document, each with page-and-box evidence pointing back to the source. Results are saved to a local store on your machine, so re-running an identical command consumes no additional credits.
