Claude Code Game Studios is an open-source template that turns a single Claude Code session into a full game development studio, with around 28,600 stars on GitHub. It organizes 49 AI agents, 74 workflow skills, 15 hooks, 14 rules, and 62 templates into a studio hierarchy, so a solo developer gets directors, leads, and specialists instead of one unstructured chat.
A single AI chat session has no structure: nobody stops hardcoded values, skipped design documents, or spaghetti code, and there is no QA pass or design review. Claude Code Game Studios gives your session the shape of a real studio. Directors guard the vision, leads own their domains, and specialists do the hands-on work, each with defined responsibilities and quality gates. You still make every decision; the team asks the right questions, catches mistakes early, and keeps the project organized from brainstorm to launch. It is MIT-licensed and cloned as a template for your own game.
Claude Code Game Studios is free and open source under the MIT license. You need Claude Code, plus the model subscription you already pay for, and the free prerequisites Git, Python 3, and Bash; the template itself has no charge.
Claude Code Game Studios is for solo indie developers and small game teams who use Claude Code and want studio-grade structure, review, and QA across Godot, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
