RemoveHandwriting is an AI document cleanup tool that erases handwritten notes, annotations and marks from photos, scans and PDFs while keeping printed text, tables and layout intact. It is aimed at teachers and students who want reusable worksheets and exam papers, and at businesses and archivists cleaning up forms, contracts and old documents.
Beyond handwriting removal, the service restores the whole page: it detects document edges and auto-crops, straightens skewed or warped scans, flattens curled pages and removes shadows and stains. Three processing modes trade speed for strength — Standard for quick scan-style cleanup, Color for preserving original colors, and Ultra for harder pages. It works in the browser and through iOS and Android apps, supports JPG, PNG and PDF, offers batch processing and API access, and automatically deletes uploaded files after processing.
New users get three free credits on signup with no credit card required; paid subscriptions add recurring credits that roll over, and one-time credit packs never expire.
