FiftyOne is Voxel51’s open-source toolkit for building high-quality visual datasets and robust computer vision models. It gives data and ML teams a powerful way to visualize, explore, curate, and evaluate image and video data โ the unglamorous work that ultimately decides whether a vision model succeeds in production.
At the center of FiftyOne is an interactive app for browsing datasets and model predictions side by side, so you can spot mislabeled examples, edge cases, duplicates, and failure modes that aggregate metrics hide. A flexible Python API supports data cleaning, deduplication, annotation workflows, embeddings-based exploration, and detailed evaluation for detection, segmentation, and classification models. It integrates with popular formats, annotation tools, and training frameworks, and scales from a laptop dataset to enterprise corpora. FiftyOne has more than 11,200 GitHub stars and is under very active development, with updates in October 2026. Voxel51 also offers FiftyOne Enterprise for teams needing scale, security, and support.
FiftyOne’s open-source edition is free under the Apache-2.0 license. FiftyOne Enterprise adds scalability, security, and support as a paid offering.
