EasyPhoto is an open-source extension for Stable Diffusion WebUI that turns it into a smart AI photo generator for portraits. Developed by the AIGC Apps team, it has collected more than 5,100 stars on GitHub and became one of the most popular ways to create consistent, stylized ID photos and portraits of a real person with Stable Diffusion.
EasyPhoto works in two stages. First, you upload a handful of photos of a person and it trains a lightweight face LoRA that captures their likeness, with automatic face detection, alignment and cleanup handled for you. Then, using that LoRA together with templates and ControlNet guidance, it generates portraits in a wide range of styles: professional ID photos, traditional outfits, travel scenes and more, while preserving identity far better than plain text-to-image. Built-in face refinement and optional second-pass diffusion help fix the artifacts that portrait generation often produces around eyes and skin.
Training typically takes only a few minutes on a consumer GPU, and a trained LoRA can be reused across all templates and combined with other Stable Diffusion models. Later versions of the extension added features such as anime-style portraits and video-oriented workflows, broadening it beyond still ID photos.
EasyPhoto is free and open source under the Apache-2.0 license. It runs locally inside your own Stable Diffusion WebUI installation, so the only cost is your hardware or GPU rental.
