PPT Master is an open-source AI agent skill with nearly 65,000 stars on GitHub that turns documents or raw topics into real, native PowerPoint decks — not flat images of slides.
Most AI presentation tools export pictures or rigid templates. PPT Master generates genuine .pptx files built from native shapes, so every text box, chart and table stays fully editable in PowerPoint afterwards. It supports transitions and animations, builds data-backed charts and tables on demand, and can even generate audio narration from your speaker notes. If your company has an official template, you can feed PPT Master your own .pptx file and it will produce decks that follow it. The project is designed as a skill for AI agents, so you drive it conversationally: hand over a document or a topic and get back a structured, designed presentation. It is MIT-licensed, was created by Hugo He, and is under very active development, with pushes in October 2026 and a public examples gallery showing generated decks.
PPT Master belongs to the new wave of agent skills: instead of a standalone app, it is a capability you install into the AI assistant you already use, which then plans the deck’s narrative, generates each slide as editable objects and iterates on your feedback in conversation. The examples gallery on its project site shows the range — pitch decks, courseware, reports and data stories.
PPT Master is free and open source under the MIT license. You run it through your own AI agent setup; the only possible cost is the model usage of the agent you drive it with.
Consultants, managers, teachers and anyone who produces slide decks regularly and wants AI speed without giving up editable, on-brand native PowerPoint files.
