Deep Dream Generator (DDG) is one of the original AI art platforms — launched in 2015 to bring Google’s DeepDream neural network to the public — and today it is a full AI image and video creation community hosting more than 30 generative models.
DDG combines a browser-based creation studio with a large, active artist community. You type a prompt, pick from a library of current models — including FLUX, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E and Ideogram-class models — and generate finished artwork in seconds. A public gallery, trending feed and comment system make discovery social: every 10 minutes a fresh community creation is featured, and artists build followings around their styles. Beyond stills, DDG can animate your images into short AI videos, and its image-to-image modes restyle uploaded photos.
Its longevity shows in the depth of the model shelf: alongside classic style-transfer “dreams,” the current library spans modern text-to-image systems and video models, so a single account covers everything from surreal artwork to short animated clips. The energy system keeps casual use free — energy refills over time — while subscriptions are aimed at daily creators who burn through generations. Featured in outlets from The Guardian to MSN, DDG remains the rare AI art site that predates the current boom yet still ships current models.
Free to start: new visitors get an energy allowance to generate images without an account. Paid subscription plans add a larger energy balance, higher resolutions, priority processing and access to advanced models.
DDG suits hobbyists, AI artists and social creators who want one friendly place to experiment with many models and share results with a community, without installing anything locally.
