SheetGod, by the team behind BoloForms, converts plain-English instructions into Excel formulas, VBA macros, and Google Apps Script ā automating spreadsheet work that would normally require a programmer.
SheetGod goes well beyond formula help. Describe what you want in everyday language and it generates the formula, the macro, the Apps Script, or the regular expression to do it. Its standout trick is meta-automation: SheetGod can build entire custom Google Workspace add-ons and Microsoft Excel add-ins from a text prompt, extending your spreadsheets with features they never shipped with. It also handles multi-step jobs such as generating PDFs from sheet data and sending emails automatically. Launched on Product Hunt, it is aimed at people who feel the ceiling of what formulas alone can do. It comes from the BoloForms team, whose Google Workspace add-ons are used by over 100,000 users, and that add-on experience shows in how directly SheetGod plugs into the Sheets and Excel workflows people already have.
SheetGod follows a freemium model: a free plan lets you start generating formulas and scripts at no cost, and premium plans raise usage limits and unlock the advanced automation and add-on creation features for heavier users.
Analysts, finance and operations professionals, and spreadsheet power users who want programmer-level automation ā scripts, macros, and even their own add-ons ā without learning to code. It is also a pragmatic shortcut for small teams that keep asking a developer for ‘one small spreadsheet script’.
